Table Description: Active regions of the Sun from Heliophysics Feature Catalogue (HFC).

This table is available for ADQL queries and through the TAP endpoint.

Resource Description: Description of active regions automatically detected from SOHO/MDI images using SMART code, and from SOHO/EIT and SDO/AIA images, using SPOCA-AR code. Detections are available from 1996 till now. In addition to active region description a chain code gives its contour.
